The Phantom was a general purpose Mach2 fighter/bomber aircraft used extensively worldwide during the 70's and 80's.

Discovered by local fishermen, this is an un-identified airframe which lies 17km from the base out in the open ocean in 44m of water.

At 44 metres, this dive requires experience in deep diving. Being in the open ocean the visibility is often crystal clear, but may not be accessible if the wind is not calm.

The rarity of diveable aircraft makes this an interesting site, beware of the near invisible scorpion fish!

Best dived on 26% Nitrox for extended bottom times.
